In honor of the Christmas season, I am sharing some Christmas card portraits! I thought I would share a special Christmasy photo session from some of my favorite people. This family is amazing and I was thrilled to be able to help bring their Christmas card vision to life here, in South Lyon, Michigan.

For this session, I went to my client’s home to shoot photos where they would be comfortable and could include all of their beautiful Christmas decorations. It was so easy for the kiddos to stay in their Christmas pajamas, not risk the wind and the car ride for their hair and capture some timeless photos to help them remember their home in this time of year. I LOVED this photo shoot.

Their 4 little girls were such troupers during the whole photo shoot and I love how their photos turned out. Having your kids at a photoshoot can be super stressful, but it is one of the best ways to capture those little smiles and faces before they grow up! It is amazing how fast the time goes. Having photos like this can help you remember these precious, little moments.

And of course, you can’t have family pictures without a picture of the amazing parents. A lot of times, my clients will want me to just focus on the kids, but I think it is so important to get one of the couple too. They are the backbone of the entire family. They are the ones who made Christmas magical!
